What time does my dancer need to be there?
Where is the Recital?
The recital is Friday, May 23rd at 6:00pm. The recital will be held at the Tecumseh High School Alumni Center, located at 901 N. 13th Street, Tecumseh, OK.β Doors open 30 minutes before the start of the show. Dancers should arrive fully dressed in costume, with hair and makeup done, at 5:30pm.
Do they have to wear makeup? What about hair?
Parents may decide on stage makeup for the show. That said, please be aware that dancers without makeup will appear washed out and facial features will not be seen under the bright, harsh stage lighting. We recommend at least a warm blush, filled in eyebrows (especially for those with light hair) and berry or red longwear lipstick. Keep in mind Recital is a once a year event, and feels a lot like playing dress up for our littlest dancers. β
We ask that hair be pulled up and away from the face.
βWe kindly request that no glitter be used in makeup or hair as it can easily spread and create a mess. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping the theater clean.ββ
Do we have a show lineup?
The show order will be available one week prior to show date.
Can we take photos during the performance?
We will have a professional photographer during the performance, so please just enjoy the show! Feel free to take pictures with dance teachers, proud family members, classmates, etc. after the show.
Will there be a video?
We hope so! If you know of a great professional videographer, let us know!
How do we get tickets?
This is not a ticketed performance! Please invite family and friends to enjoy the show.
